The Russell Westbrook's Why Not? Foundation Comedy project is a collaboration between the NBA superstar teamed up with long time childhood best friend comedian Demetrius "Juice" Deason for the annual "Why Not?" Comedy Show Tour. The collaboration is between Westbrook's Why Not? Foundation and Deason's Layups2Standup organization. This comedy series benefits children and families in underserved communities. The series features Westbrook and a rotating cast of celebrity guests performing sketches and improv comedy, with all proceeds going towards the foundation's mission of empowering youth through education, sports, and community engagement.
